Dr. Travis D. Fleming, Senior Pastor

Travis and his wife, Jenna, come to Union Avenue from New Orleans. Jenna led the music for Sojourn-Lakeview Baptist (now known as Harbor Community Church) while Travis served as a lay pastor after transitioning from his role as one of the church planters for Sojourn.   He also worked as a construction coordinator for Operation Noah Rebuild through the North American Mission Board helping to rebuild the homes and lives of New Orleanians who lost everything in hurricane Katrina.   Travis is a graduate of North Greenville University in his home state of South Carolina. He also graduated from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, earning both a Master of Divinity and a PhD. He loves college football and basketball, and one might find him cheering for his Clemson Tigers among the land of the SEC and Conference USA! He and Jenna are stoked to be in Midtown Memphis, and in particular, they love being a part of Union Avenue. They long to see Midtown renewed by the gospel of Christ.  They are currently celebrating the birth of their baby daughter, Kara, born May 2010.

Jeff has been on staff at UABC for 8 years and been a member for 16 years.  Jeff is passionate about sharing the truth of the gospel with today’s generation and helping them know they have a true friend in Jesus Christ. Jeff and his wife, Mary, have been married 10 years and have three children, Grant, Sara & Allan.  Jeff loves Titan’s football and outdoor activities.
